Happened to be in BestBuy yesterday and saw 2 of these open box for cheap. I looked around a bit on the web, but couldn't find much of anything because I'm at work. Anyway, since this connects to the DS through the GBA slot, couldn't you put GBA/DS games on this and play them?

There's a program called MaxOverload (I think it's hosted at maxconsole.net right now) that will let you boot t3h DS r0mz but compatibility is pretty low.
If you're looking for a media player, the Max Media will be decent. If you want to boot roms, get a cart that's made for that.
