k ... desoldering the bios and soldering the 40 wires to the pcb was easier than i thought it would be. everything looked clean and all, so i went on an soldered the other end of the wires to the socket that i wanted to put the 27c1024 in.
when i powerd it up, all i got was a mess of colorful blocks on the screen.
i tried 2 different eproms with the uni bios 2.1 and also a legit european bios, but none of them worked.
already thought, i would have ruined the board and decided to solder up the 1c's bios again to see, if that one still worked. it does. in fact, i just played a few rounds of kof96.
so ... is there a trick or something? different pinout?
