Price guide question and opinions

Hey everyone, just got a quick question about the price guide. I know the price guide isn't the be all, end all when it comes to prices, but could someone give me a general idea on how to base prices compared to the guide? I don't want to rip anyone off, but I don't want to be lowballed either.

Also, how often are the guides updated? Thanks for your feedback!

Some tips:

1. The guides are here to help you make your decisions but they are not intended to set market prices.
2. Consider what you paid and try not to go below your cost (if possible).
3. Condition and completeness are major factors in determining price (factor in these variables accordingly).
4. Reference the history in the selling forums and eBay in addition to the price guide.
5. Pick a realistic & fair target after you have given your item sufficient consideration.

The date of the last update is displayed at the bottom of each guide.
