Have no idea what it's worth and no idea this format even existed until today. Anyway could not find one on ebay on Logan's Run... wondering if anyone knows if it's worth anything. Long shot I know but I could not find even a completed auction for it. Was just gonna frame it cause it looked cool. Picture

This format is epic. My local library has movies in this format. I'll ask the librarian her take...myself, I haven't the faintest idea what it's worth. Pretty bitchen tho!

Not much, really. The format is cool but the art is about the only reason to own them.

Might be worth $10 or so, max, IMO.

Great movie, great artwork. It was actually part of a term paper for me. Def. worth $10 just for the art.

That's pretty nice condition, the paper artwork on those doesn't seem to survive that great, I have I think 2 and the art is pretty beat up. Not much of a collector's market for that stuff, I'd say $5-10 is about right. I'm amazed there is a library that still carries such a completely niche and dead format.

In the age of Kindle and Nooks and iPads, that's all libraries are going to be soon.

I read about CED's a few years back, seemed like an ideal format at the time that just never took off. Cheap to produce and the players were cheap too. But it was never really marketed iirc, so no one cared.

That's South Jersey for you.

Too stubborn to let go, too corrupt to actually put tax dollars where they could be of use.

CED's sell for about that of cassette tapes(pennies to a dollar). The only redeeming factor for them is the novelty. Comparatively, the laserdisc market is much better due to some of it's unique features. CED has none of these.

oh man, that takes me back. We got one of these back in the day and was near impossible to find rentals for. I don't imagine them being worth anything. Cool to have though!
