mad respect for that high kick!!! i took tang soo do when i was a child, and i was known for my kicking ability the most (one of the few things i won were spars and holding my leg up the highest in a frozen kick stance or w/e)

He does not only kick high but does it as perfect muay thai kick, leg coming downwards in the end. All that after 6 months of training. I used to be flexible but after my back was operated, I haven't been able to kick like that. But he has the genetics. My wife (who is 42) can almost kick like that and she doesn't even stretch.

kicking is awesome. idk when i went to a second karate class later in life, it was more of a mixed class, and this guy came in who was already a black belt in Taekwondo or something, and they put him up to spar with one of the regulars who had only been trained in this basic style (this one was moo duk kwan) and he literally balanced on one foot, chased challenger after challenger around in a circle just kicking them in the face over and over again until they pussed out or tried to go all out and got whacked the second they let their guard down. dude kicked our asses.
