PhoenixDown (Tom) took top honors in the tournament winning 3 of the 6 games (KOF 01, Last Blade 2, and Magical Drop 3)

I got runner up winning ROTD (GREAT match Cap!) and Shock Troopers 2 ( )

Saturn took us to school in Turmasters.


It was great to meet everyone and I'm glad that I did get to host it after what happened on Friday night. Hopefully Phoenix will be posting some pictures because like an idiot, I didn't take any. I hope to see all of you again soon!

actually the author of this thread posts on IGN to and he posted about this get togather plan on the IGN baords, SO when I saw he posted how it went over on these forums I though I would say im glad his get togather went good and let him know that it was me from the IGN boards since I know him form there.

Yeah that get-together was kick ass. Delaware was a nice meeting point so we could meet up with a lot of the MD folk.

Porshapwr has got one hell of a place, so thanks again for letting us chill there.

Oh yeah, you guys got me hooked on Last Blade 2 again, that is definitely going to become one of our games up here in NJ (I'm yelling at my friends now to get the DC version on eBay to practice).

Must practice LB2 Lee combos.....

Oh yeah, Hendrix, I tried the Guinness stout and I liked it. As a drink I liked it more, I knew I liked stout better to begin with, but as a beer I think I like the draught better. Like we discussed, draught is more of a companion beer, but stout is better on its own. Which, as it turns out, was how I was drinking and how I usually drink, so I definitely enjoyed it and will have more in the future.

That get together was good times and I was amazed at the turnout. We gotta do this again some time.

Yeah, I never had the Draught before, and man that is some good stuff! Definitely a new favorite, it's something you can actually drink with a meal, not drink and have it be a meal.

The turnout was huge and all those great matches were evidence of it, I definitely want to play more LB2 against you and Ed. I picked up a lot from the few matches we did get to play.

I'll say those MOTW matches with the people I played with were some of the best, most competitive fighting game matches I've ever had.
