I sure would, the red ones look damn sweet, the thing is I would like the black ones because they would match my home carts cases a tad better, and the size would make them easily distinguishable between the original home cart ones.
Anyone else want to see the black ones?
I sure would because I am the first to say my mvs collection is FUGLY, and definately needs a nicer look..
The red ones are sweet, but I would definaitely prefer black, as this home brew insert idea is sweet.
I need some black vinyl mvs cases !

Yeah. OK. I would say black cases. I'm getting an MVS myself and so this gets me thinking about the issues

Ehhh, I don't care about the Red part of them, as it's all covered up (or will be) by my insert.

Peace

Didn't BB mention that he wasn't going to produce black cases because he was very happy with the red?

I'd like to see Black Cases. I think BB's cases are great, but red just isn't my color.

I'm pretty much stocked up (Thanks Big Bear) with the red cases. The red ones are quite cool. So if black cases became available I'd probably not be too interested at this time.

I have'nt ruled out anything. If I bring BLACK OUT ,it will be BLACK ONLY. The RED will be discontinued.

What's up with the site? Things are slow no doubt.Alot of people are on vacation, doing things,I have/had a medical situation(pretty serious)that I am attending to and in the meantime I am trying to pull a power play!!
As long as I have breathe in my body this project will GROW and eventually be the Ultimate thing going.

I think there's room for both!

If you use MVS carts on your AES then..yes...black is the color.

However, if you're using them in a cabinet...then it's red all the way.

It's a shame we couldn't see both.

I agree, the black would suit my collection better to.

Big Bear, You also have to think about all the home cart system owners like me who have a converter.Red sticks out to much amongst my other Home carts.

aside from the price, the red has kept me from buying any cases from BB. now if they were $3.99 a piece, i wouldn't care if they were neon green.

When I got involved in this project I knew I was'nt going to please everyone. If I had went with black people would have suggested red.A split run would have increase dcosts...Costs were already up there and I wanted to go with red because I wanted it to be different.I wanted the cases to stand out and I feel that the red blends well with anything.I like the fact that a RED case stands out.
As far as the price goes...there's nothing I can really do about this until I have decided to go with another run The demand for these cases have been good but not great
enough to really warrant another run so who knows...
I will charge $5 a case to whoever wants 50 cases or more right now.. so put your money where your mouth is..I am willing to lower the price for those of you who want 50 or more cases, other than that I suggest you get them a lil at a time like soo many have and I want to thank all of you for your support!!

BTW I have discovered during the manufacturing process some of the cases are a TIGHT fit for your MVS cart making it a challenge for the user to remove it.I just brace case on my stomach and pop cart right out.... These cases will go for $3 each I will announce the sale in the appropriate area soon.

red or black, i dont care

you know, if you take the plastic tray out of an old style case, an mvs game fits perfectly. so bb's werent the first, but they are the best

BB, hopefully what I said above wasn't taken wrongly. I was thrilled to hear about your cases, but when thinking about the cost of an average MVS game ~$10-25, $7 is a lot to pay for the case. I know that these discussions were had multiple times when you first announced the cases, so I don't want to drag anyone back through that. I really think that black would be appealing to more people and that a price drop would be even more appealing to people, allowing you to sell more in the long run.

I'm anxious to hear of your sale for them at $3 a piece. And $250 for 50 is a great deal that I am heavily considering.

No. I did'nt take your comments the wrong way, did'nt mean to come off mad..just that I am going through alot right now and this whole case experience was a headache from day 1. NGF is nothing compared to dealing with the manufacturer of these things...if you only knew....
It would'nt be professional of me to get into figures time & energy spent on this project.
I enjoy Neo Geo and I hope to bring another run out and the cost down for everyone.
Sure you can figure in the cost of a game -BUT- the games are soo cheap because you just receive a cart. Imagine how much I would be able to sell a Samurai II cart ALONE for??? no directions, case or insert???

I'm sure people heard me, but I'll re-iterate because a lot of people are on the black side.

Red for MVS
Black for AES

Even though a dual run is not feasible.
