I hope like Hell that this is just a rumor or Steele doing one of his jokes/pranks/faking his death.

My wife and I are HUGE Type O fans and this would be devastating if it's true.

I haven't felt this shitty since Dimebag Darrell died.

We have lost an icon. I'm so thankful that I discovered their music when I did a few years ago. Steele wrote many great and touching songs that I could relate to. He will be truly missed.

I loved Type O Negative. I got on board in High School and loved them ever since. Perfect combination of Black Sabbath and Beatles how can you not love them? Currently listening to "These Three Things". Amazing band and love the humor and deadpan seriousness all in one 18 MIN song. Such a shame.
