How long does it usually take to get admin. approval over there for an account?

I recently read in one of the forums that I visit that it took a guy two weeks to get approved. Mine got approved right away. I guess the site admin doesn't check very often, but I must have gotten lucky in signing up right before he checked. So yeah, it can take a while.
