PC GamePad (its not about NG But help please)

Ok i go into gamecontrollers

Pick the correct joypad *3 axist, button*

i click add and it says "your gameport or gameport drivers are not properly configured. Please consult the device manager"

i go to the device manager but i cant find gameport anywhere...help please

It shold be under something like sound and video game controllers.

Sounds like it might be time to reformat and start fresh ?

Is your game port on your sound card? Or USB?
Did the pad come with it's own software?
Are you using the correct game pad/souncd card/software for your OS?
What is brand and model of the game pad?

Basically, you may need to update or reinstall your sound card and/or game pad software.

I've had some game pads/joysticks be a little stubborn to install, but most should install correctly right out of the box.

You should contact the OEM support for the joystick, or try exchanging for a different one if you can.
