That statement is so wrong is so many ways.

As far as SNK art goes I like the change. It has it's own uniques style. I would hate to think they would try to copy the orginal work just to make it look like the same old. It is a nice change of pace, but I would have liked to have seen andy Steo do the design work. But this work is still very good. The only compliant i could think of though would be it does not match the character renders as well <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I don't get it....the actual character drawings look outstanding to me....it's the character select screen of the characters that look horrible to me.....I actually think the "NEW" style is refreshing.....new company, new style, new game......could be a good formula.......

I dont see what the big deal is. I think the new art style presents a much needed "face lift" to the series. True the character select profiles are a bit goofy, but i like the new style.

I expect the worst to come for Terry. NeoLord, he's been weaking 2 years in a row. Now this year, this can be the worst.

Of all the new characters, some old favorites were toned down. It's like, new people can beat Terry Bogard(and Ryo Sakazaki too). Only on a team battle because they both have a weakness of long term injuries. However, NONE of the KOf characters can beat those 2 power house in a 1 on 1 classic KOF fight.

The art is ok, but NOT perfect. Relax, give them time.

That's the one I was talking about...the one where it looks like Terry just fluffed.

I think my main problem with the art style is that virtually everyone looks Asian --even European and American characters (that earlier pic of Robert, for example). It may just be me, but everyone in general looks Hollywood actress-anorexic. <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

Btw, what's Terry supposed to be holding in his character art?
