I have a MV1T mobo, the original large 1 slot, that has no sound in game but it does have sound in test mode. Originally it had a z80 error, I replaced the z 80 and the game booted with no in game sound, I have further replaced the sound ram, SM1 chip and the SFIX CHIP but still no sound.
The problem seems to be more of a component failure than a broken trace but I have not been able to isolate the problem. I do remember a number of people having this same problem. A little help guys, by the way its not a dirty contact problem. Anyone knows what custom chip handle the sound lines off the cart?
