Warriors vs Cavaliers once again in the finals.

Warriors don't seem as unbeatable as in previous years, but I still think they take in 6 games.

They don't look any different to previous years IMO. They just had more a challenge from the Rockets this time. Shame Chris Paul was out those last two games, they probably could have got home. Still, the Rockets choked tonight.

Not surprised that Vegas won but 6-4. Seemed really good hockey match from highlights. Have to wake up in the weekend to watch 1 match of this series.

If Igoudala misses a significant chunk of the series, Warriors in 6. If he plays from at least game 3 onwards, Warriors in 5.

I'm not going to excused the 0-27, and I won't say the Golden State didn't deserve to win last night, but the refs -non-calls frustrated me. It's hard enough to beat Golden State, even at home, without the refs swallowing their whistles on fouls and illegal screens.

They called three fouls in the first four minutes on Thompson. That almost swung the whole game by itself.

And a Rockets fan can't complain about calls. Not with Harden getting free throws every time someone looked at him wrong all year.

If Vegas wins this whole thing, I’d love to be able to find a pennant that celebrates their inaugural season and Stanley Cup on the same one.

Ditto, along with T-shirts and whatever other swag I can acquire.

Vegas went freaking nuts with that game last night. What a nail-biter. This is going to be a brutal series for both teams, and the Capitals are going to throw their weight around a lot.

Would've loved being one of those bettors at the start of the season giving Vegas 500 to 1 odds of winning the Cup ;)

Coworker bet $50 on them winning the Stanley Cup as a joke momento for the inaugural season. He's now set to win $25k. The casinos are going to take a huge bath on this if we win. They already have for all the folks to bet on them reaching the playoffs and finals.

By the way, as a lifelong basketball fan, I'm faced with a weird situation where I'm obsessed with playoff hockey, of which I'd never sat through a whole game prior to this season, and have absolutely no interest in the NBA playoffs. Cavs/Warriors again. Fuck that boring noise.

While I don't necessarily disagree, would Cavs/Rockets or Celtics/Dubs really been any more exciting? From a "this was the inevitable matchup" stance, sure, this is super boring but the quality of play wouldn't have been any better or less lopsided. At least this way we got two Game 7 road victories to go the Finals and we get to see the Cavs' franchise die on the biggest possible stage (either with a triumphant victory or, more likely, with LeBron getting smoked and fucking off to whereever he ends up).

Another boring nba finals. Warriors simply got way too much talent and lebron is too good. Like i honestly believe you can put that man on any team and that team will make the finals. Harden is good but i dont believe he be getting as many points if it wasnt for the refs help. CP3 just seems like he cant stay healthy when it matters most. As good as lebron is playing i feel like the results will be the same from last year.

Any team in the East.

Put him on the Mavs and they aren't coming out of the West.

Except when he doesn't get the calls he got all season. With Golden State sweeping his legs last night, I thought Cobra Kai was in the house.

Again, not saying Golden State didn't deserve it, but the refs made that game too damn easy for them to win.

It'll be interesting how far the "LeBron" to Houston talks go. Unrealistic, but somewhat interesting.

That opening ceremony for the Knights/Caps Game was way over the top.
They should have toned that down a bit and maybe spent that cash on making sure the ice/playing surface was properly cooled & ready for play instead of that slushy mess both teams had to deal with. Then again, that’s what you get for putting a hockey rink in the middle of the desert.

Setting a record for consecutive missed 3 pointers probably had the most to do with anything. Houston only needed 3 makes in those 27 consecutive misses to have a tie game.

If Lebron goes anywhere, Houston would be the place to go imo. Philly a close second. I just can't see him going to LA, they are a few years off being anything special at the moment, even if they get Paul George too Lebron will still have to shoulder most of the work load. I might be deluded but I still think contrary to what most people are saying he will stay with the Cavs.

If he is content where his legacy is then he's most likely staying put, but if the team doesnt get any better then I really think he's taking off. I agree that houston would be probably the only team in the west he would move to. He might do LA if they can get some big names to lure him in. Philly would be the best team in the east for him but lebron really likes being surrounded by 3 point shooters.

I think he could take the mavs to the playoffs but he wont be able to coast through the regular season like he has in the past. Though he did struggle a bunch this year to make it in the playoffs. But going through the west top teams to reach the finals? The odds would not be in his favor.

Philly, DC, Toronto, Boston, Detroit. One of those if he leaves.

DC is not even an option. No one comes here.

so jaded. Leonsis is one of the better owners to play under. The problem is juggling the salary cap. Everyone wants max money. Our salary cap system isn't conducive to parity however.

Yeah I'm pretty jaded with DC teams. But, it's not really Leonsis, I just think Grunfeld is sub-par.
