NGPC is 20 years old in NA today

Did you guys even see some of the NGPC games in store - Magical Drop Pocket, Gals Fighters? I'm imagining that in the US most places had the same dozen or so games.

Among the myriad games stores at that time, im pretty sure I saw all of them for sale at some point but they were gone quickly. I think by 2001-ish you couldn’t really find them anymore.

I bought mine on impulse at a Fry's electronics. Shortly after release. I don't think I was paying a ton of attention to games at that point and was surprised to see it. Love that damn system.

I remember seeing the sonic edition being sold everywhere and kinda pushed. Toy's R us, KB Toys, electronic boutique, Walmart around me all carried games and was somewhat popular at my school. I wish I grabbed one of the blow out deals when they was bundling everything for $40 I believe.
