Hello everyone I am a new member!(Actually registered on days ago.)I been going to this site for quite some time and usually read many posts. Everyone acts like family here so I decided to join. Part of this is also because I have my first AES Home Cart system coming in the mail.It is Japanese and comes with all the hook-ups, Jap. Fatal Fury 2, Jap. Samurai Spirits(SS2 in U.S.)and 2 old style controllers.I am also trying to buy KOF 2000. I have been wanting a NEO GEO ever since I played Fatal Fury 1 in a Pizza Hut in 1991. I picked Terry Bogard as my first character even before I knew he was a legend in fighting games and I kind of stuck with him. I decided to follow SNK history since then. I look in FuncoLand to be discourage how expensive it was. But man did I love Fatal Fury I owned Fatal Fury 1 for Genesis, Fatal Fury 2 for Genesis(I had 2 of these!) and SNES, and Fatal Fury Special for SNES.I even played AOF for SNES after I heard SNK made it.Soon around 7-10 years later prices dropped and I was able to afford one. So around in 1999 I won one in an auction sent the money and never got it. I e-mailed the person and he responded with crazy messages and canceled his account. I lost hope and decided maybe the NEO GEO wasn't for me.Until I recently played KOF 2000 kicked Zero all over the place(well it was me first but after 4 more tokens I beat him.)and asked myself was I crazy? So after many sacrifices and selling a load of stuff on Ebay I finally got another which is paid for already and is on its way so wish me luck. On a side note: I own KOF 95 for PSX,borrowed KOF 99 Dream match for DC from a friend, CAPCOM Vs. SNK(I also like Capcom fighting games)and own KOF Evolution for DC. I played many other games form SNK such as the Samurai Shodown series and FF:Wild Ambition for PSX.I'm just crazy for SNK!!!
I hope to play KOF 2001 Soon!

Well theman it was under Yahoo Auctions and they could not even contact him he canceled his account there.I never got my money back, but there's nothing I can do.I wasn't the only one hes stole from, later many other people was ripped off from him and he never came back. I lost his address but there are a couple of possiblities: It was stolen in the mail, he kept assuring me he sent it and said he had confirmation from the P.O. I won this from England so it had to go through customs and probably was stolen there.This was a Jap. system so he offered me his U.S. System I was going to take it until he made crazy messages and never was heard from again. The reason was I was ripped off because he never offered my money back, or replyed to my e-mails, he even canceled all his accounts. I lost his mailing address when we clean up the house, so I just gave up.

That sucks!!! I would hate to get ripped off in auctions. Fortunately, it hasn't happened to me.

I kind of limit myself to making U.S.only purchases no offense to foreign countries.Or I try to buy from the source of NEO GEO: Japan.

I wasn't trying to sound mean or saying the U.S. is better but after certain experiences, I try to see if any good deals are in the U.S.I am willing buy from any country since everyone here is a NEO GEO fan.Sometimes other countires offer better deals,I have no hard feelings to any country and would like to just say hello to everyone in the entire NEO GEO world and I do hope I will be accepted as a friendly person.I will always support NEO GEO world.
