on the other hand we have burrito district who seems to be a little budding artist because he can take a picture of a fucking parking deck, and acts like he knows everything and anything dealing with art, and just fucking said he can do it.

Idiot. He said he didn't like the logo...you said you didn't like the GBA player. neither of you claimed to be experts in the fields of what you disliked, so its the exact---EXACT---same thing. If your gigantic muffin shaped head is too crumbly with sugar, dough, and DEP to realize it, it's not my problem.

The plain fact is, ANYONE could've designed that logo. In fact, it's not a design! It's a rearrangement. IT MIGHT EVEN JUST HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE, who the fuck knows! It's "design" is absent of ANYTHING requiring talent, leading me to believe that if you didn't have those baking Bear Claws for hands and could hold a normal pencil, even you could design something better.

BC canceling is lame and easy as hell. Especially with chars like kyo, yash and chris.
Theres no skill there.
And what sucks, is in mid links you can bust right to bc canceling.. This makes for some nasty cheese.

At high levels of play, they aren't a dominating factor.

take a look at the <a href="http://www.kofonline.com" target="_blank">www.kofonline.com</a> tourney vids.

Not ONE of them in the final rounds, or in the semi-finals.

again, NOT a dominating factor, which makes me wonder why people hate them so much. They're no worse than normal infinites, and they require a fuck of a lot of skill and LOTS of stocks to perform... they're not even CHEAP!

edit: NOT TO SAY that <a href="http://www.kofonline.com" target="_blank">www.kofonline.com</a> is the ULTIMATE KOF RESOURCE AND THAT NO OTHER PEOPLE HAVE ANY AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER in terms of KOF gameplay, but if you watch those videos... they're REALLY REALLY REALLY good players.

KOF vids are old news to me. Whats the point of infinites if you use a bastard like chris and swap a hcb a into hcb c after each second hit?
Cause after that you just cancel at the very last second to dm............
Not to mention if your using a tier like athena, who has the most fucked up recovery in 2k2 altogether next to rugal. I cant even convey how overpowered she feels in 2k2. People call this game balanced, but chars like Kim, Athena, Iori, Kyo, Chris, Billy are top gun.

Most high level players wont use this shit, thats what makes them high level players. They dont need cheesey methods.

YET, go into a cade down here or any area and some bastard will be bc canceling like a mofo, over and over. And what sucks, is I am primarily a chris user in 2k2, and now he has no respect cause of his cheap cancels. Yash is bad to, and Kyo's qcf a to c swapping is very cheap.

What was the first thing that sucked about the svc vids? The BC cancel part. That struck me, when F said it.. its like "Oh fucking no!"

Some of those tourney level players are very basic in some ways.
Like the SF3 TS vids. Parry counter, SA.

My 2K1 May Lee could hold her own at a 2k1 tourney. I like 2k1 better then 2k2 so far anyway.

JP is notorious for skilled players, not just cause alot of people get the engine better, but because they get a head start on the rest of us by getting the game BEFORE we do.
It is a dominating factor. Half the people down here cant play for half a shit in KOF. They learn one combo and trick you into it. Everything is done over.

I cant even stress how many people had to find fall back on Orochi Yash cause they didnt learn alot of the roster.
I'm glad that K' is the man in this game though.

Also: BC canceling DOES NOT require insane skill. Its like alot of the 2k1 100%'s. At first you think its fucking hard to do, but you learn them very quickly. I barely started with bc canceling and I kick ass with it...

BC cancels arent really worse then a normal infinite. They add a non stop element that gets annoying. And dm finishes are what ices the cake. Best people I've seen play are in pakistan btw.

Anywho, I wouldn't be surprised if that logo was temporary, and/or if they intend on eventually doing away with the Playmore name completely later on.

hmm i wouldnt necessarily call that a "new logo", i dont see it as any different then taking SONY and placing it above Panasonic and calling it a day.

either way im glad the playmore stuff has atleast been clean and up to date nothing earth shattering but with all the crappy websites and zero design, (and not to mention dated looking form the 80s out there) its not too bad at all. seeing how logo design easily runs someone between $1000-$5000 for even a simple small distorted letter im sure that playmore isnt going that route and hiring some big time designers liek We Work For Them or something. But hey its clean, and presented decent enough for now. i see a few places that could use work, look around.

and Sonic you seem to be stuck on these "parking garage pics" have you seen Destruct's vector work?
