Because Mobile Social Games are the big thing in Japan right now and everybody wants a piece of the cake.

There are people spending several thousand dollars a month on in-game items and cards.

It's not surprising that SNK wants to take a shot at getting richg quick.

I can accept that SNKP uses old Neo content to make a quick buck with mobile / download games and compilations. Anyone would do it.
I only wish they would take some of that money and release every new KOF or Metal Slug in a small batch of AES games. I actually think there are enough loyal Neo fans around for SNKP to at least break even on such a release.
