Okay. Contest time. Once again I'm spending my hard earned/ill gotten money for the sake of a little fun.
This is the 2nd contest that I'll have, the first one I gave away a DC copy of Cosmic Smash, a few days after it's release and as any Dreamcast fan will tell ya, I can pick 'em. The main prize this time is a combo pack, a brand-new-on-its-way-right-now-from-NCSX.com-copy of Vib Ribbon as well as a brand new Gold Finger for those of you with unmodded PSX's. Vib Ribbon is a little music puzzle game that creates puzzles from any music CD you put in it. Put in Yani for a nice easy ride. Put in Wagner and your fingers will bleed. This game is DESTINED to be a classic. Even if you're not interested in playing it, pick it up and sit on it for a few months and sell it on eBay for $50 when NCSX exhausts it's supply! Plus you have the Gold Finger to use or sell (explain to the little kid down the street how it'll play copied games! Sell it for $100! Be creative!!! *we do not endorse piracy or rom pirates, but there is a devious amount of irony in the above scenario, I think *.
Here's the prize structure:
1st Place: Brand New Vib Ribbon and Gold Finger.
2nd Place: Used copy of Moby Dick, by Herman Melville autographed by Blaine but I will sign it "Gord"...to remind everyone that 2nd place is the first loser .
3rd Place: Soccer Kid for the Amiga CD32!!! How can you resist that!?!?!?
Here are the rules, pay attention as they are SLIGHTLY different this time around.
Everyone must pay $1 to enter. PayPal me the dollar. If you doubt my honest (as some may) you can ask around, I'm a stand up guy. I won't take your money.
After you pay your dollar email me , do NOT post your answers here. Send all emails to blaine@ihateclowns.com .
Here's the game:
I have 20 pictures that have been taken from various video game boxes or manuals from various video games....various systems. The winner will be the person who correctly names the most games AND systems. This doesn't mean you have to know the system, but that is the tie breaker. If you know the game is Dance Dance Revolution, that's fine. But if someone else knows it's DDR and knows it's for Dreamcast, then they would win a tie. Got it? So even if you don't know the system, guess. It can't hurt you.
Also as with the last time you can donate an additional 2 dollars and I'll credit you a correct answer no questions asked. So if you only get 3 right, you can PayPal another 2 dollars and your total automatically jumps up to 4.
You can buy a maximum of 5 answers ($10 donated) to add to your total.
The winner is the person with the highest score (1 point for each correct guess, 1 point for every additional $2 donated).
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
All procedes (not profits, procedes. I collect $10. I donate $10. I collect $100. I donate $100.) will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
and as a special bonus, the first 10 entries submited get an ADDITIONAL POINT FREE!
Good Luck to everyone!
Here they are!
