NeoGeo cd loses color.

So I just got a NeoGeo cd top loader, low 2,xxx serial number, it's got an unusual quirk. In the middle of game playing sessions I lose color. Yeah it goes black and white like old timey television. It does this both on the composite and svideo connections. I was thinking maybe it was a heat issue, but when I play it in the living room I have it on a book to keep it off the carpet the house stays around 72-74. Im going to triple check my svideo cable again, but it's the same one I use on my AES system and i've had zero issues with it. Any one even had an issue with it? I'm kinda stumped.

That might lead you in the right direction. I recall reading it and it reminded me of what you were experiencing.

Ive also never had a single overheating issue w/ my toploader (knock on wood)

Pop open the console and check all the plugs to make sure they're plugged in good especially the 6 pin on the right as that is what plugs into the main board fo the RGBS signals.
