I used to default on golf games and play straight shots without any lean, but I softened to NTM with it's slice and it's tremendously enjoyable now. Has anyone seen any tricky Eagle/Albatross shots apart from emulation?

Playing with european bios the germany course. First 9 holes I can pretty much birdie them all and sometimes I get an eagle too.
Last 9 holes though, they´re just down right evil. If I could somehow not go out of bounds on them and just manage pars, it would probably be enough for wins but it seems like I will need to train it quite a bit.
Oh by the way, I was able to hit a tree trunk straight in the middle on one of the holes on the first shot, it got right back to where I hit it from. I think this should be pretty rare but they still made a sound fx and graphics for when the shot ends up in tee grounds

Finished 7th on the germany course with 4 under par. I could get -8 on the first 9 holes but then just one birdie, some pars, bogeys and a double bogey on the last 9.
One big flaw is that I can´t seem to shoot the ball backwards when I get to a real trouble. Can´t seem to even shoot across some water traps from rough grass. This has really only been a problem on one or two holes though.

Despite being an arcade title, the game is pretty realistic in simulating real-life golf trouble spots. Shooting out of heavy rough you pretty much have to bust out a short distance into the fairway. Trying to force a shot with the wrong club will most likely lead to a failed attempt that just ends up in more rough.
I've found that shooting those really low scores requires overshooting and going for the green on every hole. Laying up and playing it safe only leads to pars. Go broke or go home!

Best golf game, I need more practice at it though! haha. I prefer NTM to Top Players Golf, which is a POS
