We talking in terms of our “personal” Top Five or like “most bang for your buck”? If i’m having this same conversation with someone thats never heard of nor had any prior interaction with a Neo, firstly i’d tell them to get a second job, then i’d likely point them to a different series of titles than i’d necessarily apt to start my system/cab whatever with. If they’re trying to simply get the most out of their system immediately i’d go


-Sam Sho 2 or KOF 98’ (and lets face if, you’re going to own *ONE* goddamn game SS2 should probably be it)
-Metal Slug
-Turf Masters
-Puzzle Bobble
-Racer? I guess if you absolutely, positively must have one on the Neo i’d say Drift Out.
-Blazing Star
-Sengoku 3

I think all are solid examples of their respective genre (Turf especially) and a good jumping on point for those unfamiliar with the system.

Granted, if I could only have one from each category, and one only... also factoring in sentimentality...

Hah, I wish my work was as easy as you imagine it, like giving your address to a guy you want to have a brawl with, right? But, to be frank, you can't be in this business for long without knowing your trade, that means to understand the phrase you learn everyday to be more than just a phrase.
