There are $580 and $800 buy it now auctions on ebay. Granted, those are for JP AES carts, but you gotta be stupid to pay 2.5k.

Edit: Also reported the seller for asking for bank transfert, which is only allowed for automotive and business and industrial categories.

I myself don't understand the AES mentality. Considering the fact that they all use the same exact ROMs, one would expect there to be little price difference between regions. However, in AES Land, price differences like this are definitely not unheard of. On AES, you can get JP Sonic Wings 3 for a few hundred dollars. A USA Aero Fighters 3 however....
