MVS MV1-FZ motherboard question...

Hi all,

I have an FZ 1 slot and it has power connections to the board and also through the jamma harness. It runs without the board connections but is there a reason for this board having these as no other 1slots seem to and im not sure if its going to be making my board run better or worse.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I think you're alright. The service manual doesn't even point out those connections. According to the manuals the only real difference from other 1 slot boards (1A) is the current of the +5 - 7A vs 3A.

well ive got them connected at the minute you see but im wondering if there is any point.

So your saying the fz should be 7A and not 3A?
