I have an mv1b that I converted to use regular cr2032 battery instead of three standard rechargable.

My batteries are only lasting about 2 weeks.

I followed this image from jamma-nation-x tutorial when I did the mod.

I noticed that my mv1b is missing some additional parts.

This is my mv1b with the missing part areas circled:

It looks like it's missing some capacitors.

Does anyone know what those capacitors do?

Does anyone know the correct values, so that I can replace them?

Anyone have any suggestions about additional parts to remove or what can cause battery drain?

Thanks.

what batteries are you actually using?

Good CR2032 Lithium aren't that common IME, cheap ones won't last years

the schematics for the MV2FS are all I'm aware of, should be similar enough, if not the same IMO

I'm using Panasonic cr2032. I use them in other applications and in other MVS motherboards without issue. I've had one in my Golden Axe PCB for over a year and it's still got almost full charge. They are quality batteries, as far as my experience with them goes.

I will try to decipher the schematics.

Thanks.

If anyone else already knows this information or can answer other questions, regarding the cause of the drain, I'm still looking for that info.

Edit: I can't make out most of the data on the schematic, it's too blurry for ME to get the actual data.
Perhapsm if I had some prior knowledge of the contents, it would be easier to read.
