Hi all. So I've got an mv1a that's currently dead. Only sign of life is the led on the left side of the board, by the dip switches, lighting up when it's powered up. Nothing on the screen and no sounds. Any ideas where to start? Other than being dead, the board looks in good condition. Some very light corrosion on a couple of pins of the sound chip but other than that nothing. Worth changing out the caps and battery as a starting point? Thanks

Make sure dip switch 8 isn't in the "on" position.

Flip all switches on and try again. Sometimes if the data bus fails just right it won't go into watchdog reset loops.

Just the bios chip on the MV1A. The cart is only needed if you want test sound.
