MV-1FZS === Stereo MV-1FZ, afaik.

Doesnt the last "S" stand for "Stereo"? :-)

(P.S. - ja viu os carts de MVS no mercadolivre de um tal de sabreroger? baratíssimos!)

I have the same board as in the bottom picture MV1FS.

It has a switch situated just above the speaker slide that allows you to switch from stereo to mono. also there is a sticker on the plastic slot that reads.

CAUTION (monaural / stereo sw)

make sure the sw is on the monaural position, when you use JAMMA type cabinet.
Note) it may cause trouble on P.C.B. by miss setting

and it has a diagram of the switch & board.

I guess your cab was wired for simulated stereo where you feed the mono signal to both speakers.

The only way to tell is to run it in test mode...

Left should fire the left speaker.

Right should fire the right speaker.

Question

I have the board that's in the bottom picture.

The sticker on it indicactes the mono setting if for use with JAMMA, so stereo should be for MVS right?

The warning about using the wrong "MISS SETTING" causing PCB trouble. Any idea what's meant by that? Just poor sound quality, or could it mean physical damage to the board?

Thanks!

Both

Distorted audio, also if you have it set to stereo in a jamma mono cab the board could suffer. (its like connecting one speaker between left + and right + on your Hi Fi)
