I dont have the manual for this board MV-1 does any one know where I can get one or a pdf of one. Also does the -5 volts need to be pluged in to the power suply for this board aor any neo geo board?

Never mind

Just looked at my board and I found out that its a MV-1F so is there is no way I can hook up a memory card slot to this?

Not for any MVS board, the earlier version of the Hyper64 uses -5 volts afaik ?

No..
I don't know of and MVS boards that uses the -5V

I have a MV-1 in that lil BAM machine.(in sig)
The manual I have shows no location for a -5v on the harness/not used.

So

Then none of them use the -5 then is there a way to hook up a memory card reader to the MV-1F board or did this board not come with that option?

No,I did not come with that Option.

The MV-1F is very similar to the MV-1 except it lacks the MV-IC memory board connectors

This is what you would of needed..if you had a board that supported the memory Card reader.

more board questions

Then is the Bios on the MV-1F replaceable? Also I have been going through some of these posts on here and I see alot of posts about diferant bioses and I was wondering why you all replace your Bios on your boards. What are the benifets of doing this?

I know full of questions but you all are the experts. I am new to the MVS.

Yes,you can change the bios Chip..it's Socket-ed..
It lifts up/unplugs and you can just plug in a new/another one...(Very Easy to do)

I have a UNIVERSE BIOS in one of my 4 slot mother boards.
The best thing I ever bought,though I bought the board with it already installed by someone else.

Wow thats really cool I was wondering about that before I always wanted to get the mod chip for my aes system I didnt know that it was also for the MVS thanks every one for all the info
