Is it possible to buy a cheaper MVS Mark of the Wolves and have someone turn it into a AES copy? 1.) how much would that run?
2.) how and who is reliable to do this?

If anyone knows please let me know. Im just not wealthy and really would like to have a home copy of it. I know id need a insert and a snap case too, so that it atleast blends in with the rest of my home carts. But if anyone has suggestions please let me know.

Thanks
Rich M~

Well here's the thing.

TO make a MOTW cart, you'd need 2 sac carts.

One from a protected game, like KoF 99, and another non-protected cart, like FF3 or WHP.

On top of that, you'd need a non-bootleg MOTW MVS cart. I've seen them going for 150.00 with a BIN on eBay.

On top of that, you's need to find someone who will do the conversion. That usually runs about 70-100 dolars.

So, the conversion of MOTW will run you about:

200.00 for KoF99
100.00 for FF3, or 250.00for WHP
150.00 for MOTW
90.00~ for the conversion
--------------
540.00~ for the conversion comes out to about equal the price of a non-converted MOTW.

If you REALLLY have to play it on a home system, the best thing to do would be to get a converter, an MVS MOTW, and a shock box from Big Bear. GamersAbyss has been churning out the inserts, and I'm pretty sure he's made a nice, near facsimile of the NGH MOTW insert.

WOW on that conversion  Hell I could pay the money just to buy a original home copy. And to jack a KOF99 or any other game of that magnitude is complete insanity
So, the conversion of MOTW will run you about:

200.00 for KoF99
100.00 for FF3, or 250.00for WHP
150.00 for MOTW
90.00~ for the conversion
--------------
540.00~

Jeff Kurlz, does conversions. You can find a cheap MOTW MVS for about $100 cart-only. The conversion fee is about $75. And price of sac cart may vary depending on what game you choose as the sac cart.

The whole process should be under $300, I don't know where Daisuke Jigen got his prices from.

You need two carts to make a MOTW. Including one protected cart.

Where can you get a non-bootleg MOTW for under 100?

Check out Nick_the_Furys site for a comprehensive list of the carts needed for conversions.

Quite a reliable seller of loose MVS carts.

For info about conversions check http://nickthfury.cjb.net/

Anyway, if I were you I would get a Phantom converter from http://www.neogeousa.com/
Also you can think about getting a JAMMA supergun and a MVS board.

Well thanks for the info, if a MotW MVS to AES only needs one SAC cart........does it have to be a AES cart or a MVS cart? And I know id need one because of the carts aes case, however im under the assumption its because of the two chips in it. It sounds like I would need a SAC cart of a certain kind because the two chips/boards in it. Is that correct? And if this is correct what cart do I choose, hopefully one that Cheap. Because if I can get a MofW MVS/bin cart for $80.00 and a Sac Cart for under $100 and the conversion done for under $100, then the rest is cake. And who would anyone recommend to do this? Who is reliable and good at what they do?

Thanks to all that are proividing info on the quest I may just venture into, because I certainly cannot afford a $400-500 AES version of MofW. Heck I don't know to many poeple that can, and most have said its a really must have great game. However paying that price they say is not worth it considering its on DC.

Well Breach you took the words right out of my mouth, it is on Dreamcast, can be found for $9.99 some places... and is nearly identical to the AES/MVS version. If you must have it and you can't afford the real deal, just get the DC version. $500 is a lot to pay for a game, but all us Neo players/collectors are kind of blind to this, we blow that in a week (hehe, I just got sad). There are cheapy alternatives, if you want to play a lot of games cheap splurge on a Phantom converter. Then you can start buying the cheaper MVS games. No reason to convert.
