You know, as if finding out when games were dumped the day they are released wasn't enough, we also get a DIRECT and WORKING link too! Not only to the ROM set, but to the Snapshot, fixed M1 rom, and the data set needed to run the game in Nebula.
That's not just service, it's service with a smile.
I mean god, just finding out the games were dumped and watching the ensuing drama was at least entertaining, but I'll be damned if I want a direct link on the boards. I mean god NEO-0 doesn't even allow direct ROM linking. Sure they tell you what hotline server to go to, but they won't let you link to it!
As pro-Emu as I am I don't want to see ROM beggers pop up here, which is what will happen if you put direct file links in posts!
I can't believe that the topic hasn't been deleted already, I mean it's Shawns site and it's only been 14 days since the AES cart shipped and we have a direct ROM link!
What's next? ROTD will probably be dumped BEFORE the AES release. I can see it now, the first Neo game to be emulated before it's slated AES release date. I can see the uproar now.
So with that I think the thread should be closed. Not that I'm turning anti-emu, but I really to like the boards here, but shit like this is going to tear this place apart, and that's something I don't want to see happen.

It's ok dude, I know you didn't mean any harm, but it just goes to show what happens here. ROM haters here are so passionate in they're hate that they make topics, that let Pro EMU people find out the game was dumped, and a link like that, done in anger just makes it that much easier to get the ROM.
But don't feel too bad, I mean it saved me the time and trouble of having to hunt for it, so I guess thanks are in order.
It's just that I can see it coming man, there are a LOT of members here who HATE Neo Geo ROM's. They can pretend to not care, etc, but it can only last for so long. If it's not ROTD being dumped before the AES release (which I'm almost positive will happen), it'll be SNK vs. Capcom getting dumped. Cause don't think that a high ass profile game like that will be safe. It's even more reason for people to go through the time and effort to dump/bootleg/emulate the game.
I can see the old members vs. the newer members when something like that happens, and just causing a huge disruption in the boards and it may result in people leaving which I don't want to see.

And you know this how? They aren't going to change a damn thing, they can't unless they spend shitloads on a new chip to encrypt the games. That won't happen cause if they had that money they'd move development over to NAOMI or some other platform that the games can not be pirated so easily.
I'd love to see them finnally make the move, make arcade games, release them on major consoles. It'd be sweet, hell it's something Capcom's been making shitloads of money at for YEARS now.
Maybe this will finnally wake these people up and say "Hey maybe we should move to new hardware.."
