Monitor-Chassis compatability

Hey,

I was wondering if I could swap out a faulty Nanao MS2930 chassis for a Wells Gardner D9200 chassis without changing the tube. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with making this switch?

Won't work and you risk damaging both the WG D9200 chassis AND the tube.

You could have gone after this and used the blast as a DC/360/Mame setup:

Not too sure of untested things, but at least it was clean.

The 2932 is designed for the tube found in the Naomi Universal, which is the same tube as in the NAC, but with a different yoke. For certain, the 2934, is the VGA only chassis made for the Blast tube and yoke.

I think you're right. I bought this because I think it has the same neckboard as the 2930, and the neckboard is my issue right now. Worst comes to worst, I own a NAC
