Metal SLug feature in Fulltime Killer

the movie Fulltime Killer?
it´s a Johny To Hong-Kong movie
with Takashi Sorimachi (GTO)

at the end of the movie the "tok"
asks takashi if he know a game
called "Metal Slug"
in japanese with a chinese accent

i almost cryed hearing this...
i liked the movie so far..
now i love it ^^

I've been meaning to check out that movie... that's the one with Andy Lau right? I still remember him and Chow Yun-Fat killing 300 gangsters at a mansion ran by Alex Man in Tragic Hero. Any NEO exposure is good exposure of course.

Yes, Fulltime Killer is the movie with Andy Lau and Sorimachi Takashi. And the Metal Slug reference in the movie is pretty cool.

And Sorimachi Takashi has no relation to Kitano "Beat" Takashi.
And the movie "Brother" by Kitano Takashi is out in the USA, though it is edited.

Anyway, the fight after that conversation reminded me much more of Metal Gear than Metal Slug, so I'm just wondering if the confused them...

Metal Slug with Metal Gear...
they say

(he could be refering to the older
MG, but dun think so, since he says further...)
