I've only played the emulated version in MAME, but I got some different impressions as to what may have been in Geese's will. It always seemed to me like Geese abandoned Rock and Terry Bogard ended up raising him. If the will was meant for Rock, how come Kain got it instead? Maybe because the lawyers, this is all speculative BTW, didn't know he existed. I think what Kain could not decipher, as he says in Rock's ending, is how Geese managed to cheat death all those times before. No matter what happened to Geese, he always managed to survive. How? To this day, no one has answered that question to my satisfaction.

it is very cool and valid explainantion. it could be true since grant never showed his face in MOTW. he also wears similar kind of clothes. he also disappeared in thin air without a trace leaving only his clothes and mask behind.

And seeing as Geese would be Nightmare Geese, this explanation of him disappearing into nowhere DOES make sense.... Hey, what if Grant is Billy Kane?!!? Maybe Kain has Lilly Kane and is using her life as the way to make Billy Kane do whatever he wants!

Personally I think that MOTW can seriously bring KOF into the new millenium, I'm not to sure on how many people got my post from ages ago about my ideal future KOF game, but I'll post it sometime. I mean FF and AOF basically started the KOF syndrome and aws somewhat a beginning to bring it to eh reality of a slugfest. But mroe later.

Well here's my take on how MOTW2 should come out.
Personally, the KOF NESTS story arc, isn't too bad, but I think KOF might be getting a tad old. I know that might be SNK blasphemy, but hey, good things must some to an end at some time.
Anyways, storyline. Back to the three on three fighting storyline I suppose. Just for the hell of it and KOF traditions sake.
Garou team: Terry, Rock and possibly either Kevin or Mary. It's just that maybe to stay with the story of MOTW, we should have a team where Kain and Rock are together and possbily Grant as well? But nevertheless if there was a Garou team I would think that Terry and Rock would be together and most likely Kevin since Terry and him seem to be friends. I would like to keep the lineup as fresh as possible. So no Mary fellas.
Shiranui team: Possibly one of the only vets I might allow to return, (in my fantasy MOTW:KOF) Andy, Hokotomaru and his sister or else Mai. I would perfer the sister just to keep it fresh and all.
AOF team: Butt, Ryo and possibly the Kid that Butt ran away with in his ending. Or else Yuri. Either way, i would perfer the kid or someone else, once again to keep it fresh.
Korea team: Absolute no brainer, but the question would be how to implement Jhun, if one wants to? Would he be in charge of Choi and Chang?
Karate team: Harou and Gato, plus another. it would be interesting to see maybe the father or mother join in? Just to see the family dynamics and such.
Geese team: Rock (ok might as well do it) Kain and Grant. Just to make it weird. Plus it would go for some good interaction.
Now the biggie, return of the Kusanagi and the Yagami. But with a twist. Have Kyo dead! Yes! It would totally further the story, and have Iori killed him. Anyways the team might look like this.
Kusanagi team: Shingo! Yes, let's just say after Kyo was dead, Shingo swore to avenge him and trained extra hard. Still does not have the flames but he has.....Kyo's two children. Now I would really love to see a female and a male Kusanagi. I would really would like to see what SNK can do with new guys especially a female. I dunno.
Yagami team: Iori of course, since he was the only one who survived. But would we consider Freeman? I really wouldn't but hey, it would be nice. But kinda nicer to have two students of Iori like his offspring or whatever. Just some little Iori's running about.
Lastly, for those who cannot live without Kyo, make him a secret character.
Any suggestions.

About the "Geese as Grant" scenario:
I'm starting to think it's possible. Ever notice how, right before your fight with Kain, he says that Grant's power was the "real thing"? That statement of his certainly opened my eyes...
Physically, he's kinda similar to Geese, who was always a little bigger than Terry. If anything, Grant looks a little bigger than Geese, but it's not too much of a stretch.

Geese back?, the night of the undead......., I heard better returns that it, If Geese was alive, Rock wouldn´t stay with Terry, one true with to the temple, the Mark of Wolves history begins in the case that Geese is dead a long 10 years until Real Bout or 97/98 kof with the story line of KOF ....:.
I expect a Capoera student of Bob Wilson, one Joe´s student, more thugs of the gang of Geese Howard who are alive,( not Yamazaki, Billy and perphaps Mr.Big).

Grant........¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡, is better bosss character and more playable, is fun beat all the challegers with his tecnics and mighty power and his beautiful and destructive DMS
Last thing..........., I didn`t expect the return of Kof characters in MOTW 2, these characters had his serie, (who the N.E.S.T.S story was long to finish and had more suprises, so K is long to discovered all the organization of N.E.S.T.S and beat his hidden fighters, only know the renegade Ron of Clan-Hi and the Kula´s team, there are many fighters who have join the N.E.S.T.S society.

and in Real Bout 2, its just an illusion from the scroll...

I kinda like the idea of the original 3 in the game, Terry, Andy, and Joe making a reunion. Otherwise have them kill of Joe or something, some kind of closure (not that i hate joe or anything) because its better than just letting the character fade into nothiness after sequels. Although the idea of an older Andy whos skill level has matched Terry is interesting, he should sound more relaxed and have the confidence of a master, unlike his over exaggerated kof self. Personally i don't like that annoying kid as his disciple.
As for other characters, I think Marco should stay as he is representing AOF/Kyokugenryu, either that or an older Yuri.
The Cop guy isn't too interesting. Jenet is cute, but dunno if she deserves to be in a sequel as she isn't too revelant to the story.
Gato/sister
eh didn't really have all that good of impression. Sister should be a combination of their 2 styles. (choosing her to return because if she grows her character could change, rather than a whole new character)
Tizoc .. eh need a grappler.. on second though either he or Kevin Ryan goes.
(of course my prefered grappler player would be Mary)
Freeman is pretty cool needs more moves.
Kim sons are cool, they should definately stay.
Geese is dead, please stay dead.
It would be soooo cheesy/lame if he's escaped death again, i'm sorry but getting knocked off the same tower twice really deserves death. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
