Hey all i havnt been around at all in a very long time. but you might be seeing a bit more of me around, because yesterday something unbelievable happened.
(pictures are BIG in this post)
I was over at my old high school that i graduated last year doin some work on a project for myself, making stickers.
anywho I decided to drop the local pizza place a couple blocks away to grab some food. and as i was walking through the back ally which is the route i usually take and i couldnt believe my eyes.

There it was just sitting there in the ally behind the strip of 6 neighbourhood corner stores. It was facing outward so i didnt really have the ability to see inside the cab or anything so i figured it was just dead and everything salvageable had already been ripped out. I went in all the shops and asked about the cab. nobody knew who it belonged to.
so later that night i convinced my dad to go with me behind the store and we yoinked it. we left it at home in the garage and the next morning i took a look to see what could be the problem.
Suprise Suprise!
the owner didnt remove the board

I have a feeling it is Super dodge ball indeed considering i found the dip sheet to that game inside aswell the board is Technos.
I plugged it in after it dried (it rained pretty heavily that night before we picked it up) and nothing... nothing happens... i have a feeling its the power supply.

it doesnt exactly look like its in the best shape.

all in all it aint pretty but i will do my best to restore it... somehow, unfortunitly it is coming pretty close to winter in calgary so I might have to hold off on anything too major.
From what i can tell i think it was origionally a Robotron cuz you can read the text burnt into the screen. the cab was made in may 1982.
all in all i am not sure what to do right now as i have absolutly no idea what i am doing.
If anyone can assist me at all with this project in any way that would be fantastic. i dont even know what needs to be replaced. so i guess i will start there. Anyone know aplace to get replacement parts... and what part i might need to get, possibly in the region of Power supplies or whatever
