I recently got a dead shogun warriors pcb in a trade that the wizardly shadowkn55 brought back to life. It is so badass. Yeah, it's pretty awful from a comparative standpoint but I love it's quirks. The english voices are priceless. Anybody else love this garbage? I'm talking Time Killers, Survival Arts, Kasumi Ninja, Tattoo Assasins...

I always found Bloodstorm deliciously cheesy. The "high score" is a count of dismembered limbs (heads/arms) from opponents.

That video is actually pretty funny, esp compared to alot of the trytohards on YouTube.

Weaponlord is obscure, yes, but shitty? No fucken way.

This thread has Atari Jaguar written all over it. The entire library was mediocre to crap, in fact.

*Fight for Life
*Kasumi Ninja
*Ultra Vortek
*Double Dragon V (Jaguar version)

and, though less obscure: Primal Rage (Jag CD version).

Oh shit yeah, the jag is a treasure trove for this kind of stuff.

So nobody mentioned way of the warrior on the 3do? That's a classy one.

I'd like to try the thrill kill proto that's floating around also. I hear its glorious.

Time killers is brilliant. Arcwyvern and I were playing it a party and I almost peed myself laughing. I love how when a limb is severed, if you push it's associated attack button blood droplets spew out in futility.

Btw--cosmic carnage deserves a mention in this thread. It's one of the best reasons to own a 32x.

Time Killers is one of those games that you remember where you first saw the cab and your kid testosterone just went apeshit. A fucken head button for crying out loud! Psygnosis, I have thrill kill so you can check it out. It's basically the Slipknot/Korn/hot topic dream game mixed with torture porn. It's brilliant.

Cosmic Carnage is classic. Love those wiggly ass sprites.

VT, your taste is fantastic in this realm. I'm happy to see others who are into this shit. The PC exclusive shitty ultra violent fighters from the mid 90's are also just stunning.

Same. I love all good, bad and ugly fighters.

Which brings me nicely onto the Nintendo 64 fighting game library; ripe with mediocrity downwards! I can't be fucking doing with 'RacketBoy' personally, however, this has saved me formulating a list myself. Pretty self explanatory stuff here: http://www.racketboy.com/retro/nintendo/n64/the-n64-fighting-game-library

Also, I'm a sucker for:

Battle Monsters (Saturn)
Masters of Tera Kasi (PS1)
Wu Tang (PS1)
Kensei Sacred Fist (PS1)
Zero Divide series
Toshinden series
Godzilla series (GCN, PS2 etc)

Plus many more that have already been mentioned (3DO, Jag etc).

Rise of the Robots will NEVER be acceptable though...

I'm with you brother... nothing quite like an awful fighting game.

Power Rangers: The Fighting Game might take the cake for me, but here's the short list:

Lord of the Rings on Mega Drive... ya its a fighting game for some reason.
Street Fighter IV (nes bootleg).... has two versions of Rambo. 'Nuff said.
Suiko Enbu / Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty.... might be too good for this list, actually. But has a character that randomly throws a fish, crab, or a frog. I'm hype.
Street Fighter; The Movie
Tournament Fighters, NES... the NES version of this is pretty hilarious.
