Loretta Lynn dies at 90.

When I was a kid my mom loved Coal Miner's Daughter, and we would watch it when it would come on because she was a huge fan of Loretta Lynn and Sissy Spacek. Since then I've always liked her music.

Naturally I never saw her perform live, but she was pretty great. RIP.

Its a weird association I have with my mom, Lynn and Spacek. Sissy Spacek played Loretta, and my mom looks a lot like Sissy Spacek, and Karen Allen.

I never met Loretta Lynn, obviously but I do feel that odd sense of loss.
