I am pondering the idea of getting a Neo Geo. I would like to know what is the best way of going about starting. Would ebay be a wise choice or buying from a retailer? You guys tell me. Someone tell me, where do I start? Thank you, in advance.

With eBay you have uncertainty of a guaranteed purchase, the net itself is filled with malchance so you can get ripped off anywhere, but if you want something immediate, go for a retailer. Or keep hunting auctions with a reasonable Buy It Now price.

There are already too many collectors in this scene, I don't recommend it. Maybe you like X-Box? Plenty of opportunity still there.
