I have the following carts that need fixing:

Blazing Star - attract sound is OK, messes up once you start a game (bad distortion)
Ninja Commando - sounds like pissed off 56k modem, super loud electronic chaos
Ninja Master's - same as above
Shock Troopers - same as above
Waku Waku 7 - no sound

All have been thoroughly cleaned and the boards are in good cosmetic shape.

Anyone have the time? PLMK how much it'd be. I can provide donor carts for PCM chips, etc if necessary.

Blazing star may be the easiest one. Likely one of the V chips is broken, and those are easy to replace with a burned EPROM. The next 3 look like the PCM is broken. SMD chip, requires more ability to replace, but doable. It requires a donor though. WW7 looks like M1 chip is dead. Replaceable with EPROM easily.

To summarize: BS and WW7 look easy to fix by any of the tech gurus around. The rest might require broken carts with good PCM chips.

Regards.

The middle 3 sound like a bad PCM or trace to the PCM. If any V roms are Toshiba chips and have a brown square in the middle then the chip is bad.
