Theres a dedicated 6 slot in my kitchen and the public is welcome to play as long as they pony up the 25¢ per play.

There is a Topic somewhere on this site containing some of the info you seek.
I posted some MVS locations that are in New Jersey area in that thread.

But no matter what I type in I can't find it using the search..I'd say the threads about 3-4 months old .

Sad, but they are fading away

Hi All:

Thanks for posting. I love the international locations :multi_co: How about Canada and South America ?? I know there are more out there in the US. Anyone :eek_2:

I know the subject of game locations has come up before, but I just wanted to repost for some of the new people to the boards & give anyone who happened arcoss some machines to post.

Chris1: I do have some from NJ, but I do need to do some more research for location (Tuff to find)

Michael: Be careful... You'll have everyone at your house. Playing your machine & raiding you cabinets for food :tickled:

neo*geo: One reply, then one question. I updated the Goodge street MVS location (called Game focus) with the 30p. My question is the other location is called eastenders cafe? BIG THANKS for the info

Dizrythmia: Big shout out to you too :D for the locations.

Thanks all

There's a beautiful dedicated MS5 cab in the Cinemark theater at the Hadley mall, Hadley Massachusettes, USA

They also have a 4 slot neo, which wasn't running the last time I was there :crying:

:)

I'll send you some more info on a few MVS machines that I know of in N.J.

Pretty cool thing happened today though..(that'll get you the locale info on.

My wife was on her way home from work and she decided to go another route and stop in a Strip Mall that's fairly new but we've never been there.
We Passed it several times though.

She hits a few stores buying some clothes, takes a peak in Blockbuster for any used games that I might want.(nothing)
..(I was on the Phone with her)

Then she says.."Whoa...Wait a minute"
There's a brand new looking Laundromat with a few Arcade machines in it.......She goes in..(No-one in it)

NOTE: not to many places around here have Arcade machines in them anymore.... :crying:
So she knows this is info that excites me.. :multi_co:

She sees a Ms Pac Man/Galaga combo machine/the new ones....and a Cruisin USA Arcade Machine..both are mint/new.

Then she says.."Oh,you'd shit yourself"...
There's 3rd cab in there..It's a generic cab WITH...a 4 slot in it..

She instantly recognizes Puzzle Bobble playing..&.The Neo Geo MVS intro screen etc..(She knows that well)
Apparently the mother board has a Japanese BIOS..everything is playing in Japanese..(No need to be set in Japanese in that town)

She watches as the games cycle through./pressing on the Select switch but nothing happened(needed coin in)...
She describes to me what she sees..She says it's a Soccer game..with a Japanese name and a # 2.

So I figure it's Super Sidekicks 2...Then she says "Oh Wow"..the 3rd game is Metal Slug 3..a game she knows I love...
Then the cab cycles through the games again with the splash screen etc.

Hmmm,no forth game..I wonder why not......That gets my curiosity going..
Shoot,I'll put a cart in it for a few bucks a week..

.... Listening to her describe this Neo Geo conversion cab to me was pretty exciting./It's hard to explain..
She was hitting home base, with something that really interests me.

I'm going to go see it myself this week and take picks...Play it too.

(I may be a painted Dedicated cab ....or......I really have to see it for myself)

Waits, waits, waits to post again....60 seconds has fkn past.

Neo Geo 2 Slot located in FUN CITY Arcade...Keansburg N.J.

It's not working now but I could swear this is the same cab that was in this Arcade a few yrs back that went missing.
(I thought he sold it)
I took a picture of it back then when it was operational.

The owner will still not sell it for no price....Anyone can go ask..He will not part with it.
(I'm not the only person"here' who has tried.)

It's been buried not working for awhile now..

I went back to this Arcade a few weeks ago and it's really buried now.
More then in these picks.

I found a place that had 2 MVS machines:

Date: 8/21/04

Columbus Farmer's Market
2919 Route 206 South*
Columbus, NJ 08022
Phone 609-267-0400
Fax 609-261-8869

One of the MVS seemed to have only 1 cart in the slots, it was Metal Slug when i saw it, and the other MVS was a 2 slot with Kabuki Clash and Samurai Shodown 1 in it.

There's a 4-Slot at the DIVERSIONS game room off of Culebera Road here in SATX, plus a devoted cab for Metal Slug 4, and another devoted cab for SVC Chaos. Then of course there's this 2-Slot over at my dad's garage always set on free play and with all the violence.

Atlantic City boardwalk .....New Jersey

2004_0825_AlCity.jpg

2004_0825_wwood.jpg

Samurai Shodown 4
Fighters History Dynamite
World Heroes 2
Football Frenzy

The two Arcades they did have had only new stuff in Arcade machines..(Outrun 2 etc.)
I wasn't expecting to find a Neo Geo at Atlantic City when my wife saw a Ms Pac Man machine near the Exit door in the very small Arcade located where you Exit coming out of "Ripley's Believe It or Not"(Atlantic City Museum/on the boardwalk)
This small Arcade is not really noticeable unless you really look at the stuff in front of Ripley's Believe It or Not(No Signs saying Arcade)
My wife went in first and was actually leaning on the machine buying a beverage out of the machine to the right of it.
I was in shock when I walked in and saw it..

The sides are black with red spots coming through...Football Frenzy is in the 4 the slot instead of Samurai Shodown as in pick..
The sticks & buttons seemed new(responsive)and the CP overlay was mint because it was covered by a thin piece of plexy glass.
I played Fighters History Dynamite and Samurai Shodown 4..
.The other machines in this room(say 6-8 were pretty much new or in very nice condition..DDR etc...This machine needs a lot of work (wood/paint)..Played Great/Good Monitor..Had it's M reader and original M reader sticker plate.
I figure maybe the owner got it cheap or he's a Neo Geo fan..(made me happy though...
.
..............................................................................................................
Though I played tons of Arcade machines throughout the ton of Arcades on the
Wildwood New Jersey boadwalk,..I didn't find any Neo Geo Machines.. :(
(Outrun 2--all over the place)

I did find and play two Atomiswave Machines..located at two seperate Arcades..(only these two AW machines)
