Has your ROTD cart been fixed?

1. Remove R1 resistor.
2. Remove R6 resistor (221 ohm).
3. Take resistor from R6 (221 ohm) and put it into R3

Yeah I fixed it. Even removed c6 cap. I can play it it just will randomly give a write error with unibios.

That's bananas. It feels like there's gotta be a surefire solution that just isn't well-documented or hasn't been discovered.

From my google-fu even if you have a certain model of the oldslots the fix isn’t a guarantee. I assume these models (even the same identical model) might have a different chip/part used vs another. Some of the parts might just have a higher tolerance for errors too. Kinda sucks asmy mv1f is super reliable otherwise.

My ROTD works fine with my MV1FS and MV1C. Never tried it with an MV1F though. If I were you I might almost try buying another ROTD cart. glwts (good luck with the search).

I doubt a new cart would matter. I tried jarofmayos and same error happened.
