KOF '98 GRAFX PROBLEMS

That's it, got this kof 98 from a friend and it does have these problems as you can see in the pics. Also when press start it let me choose the fighters ald when is to enter the stage it just gives black screen. But if I press the select+start to bring the unibios menu it does come I can change cheats and all and even do the soft reset. Btw, I have swaped the PROG board for the one of my kof 98 and it works fine with it, so the problem is in the PROG board. Could it be the P1 or P2 roms? Or both??

Hi, as far as I know there is a 100 pins chip of Altera. I am almost 100% sure that the problem is in this device.

Pull the program ROMs and do a checksum on an EPROM programmer. Compare that checksum to what's posted for MAME ROMs. Burn a replacement EPROM to replace the bad one.

Oh I have seen the datasheet. So to find another one to replace will be easy???
