EDIT: Yes...I am stupid, never mind the question. How about I narrow it down to between '98 and '02?

You do realise this kind of question has been asked many times before..
Use the forum search and you'll find some similiar topics like this.

As for the best KOF, well it really depends on if you like strikers or not etc.

For me it's a tie between KOF '98 and KOF 2K2... so either one is fine with me. Prolly have to lean more to 2K2 since I'm a fan of May Lee, and Angel and neither of those chicks are found in the old SNK... just SNKP. ;)

Dude new members keep popping up, so it's best to ask this when EVERYONE is around now.

KoF '96, '97, and '98 they're the three to buy :)

I could quite easily live without any of the others.

KoF 2K2 doesn't have anything on KoF '98. KoF '98 is in a different league.

Bingo...well 1995 is great as well.

Take KOF 1998 over 2002. It looks and plays better, not to mention it feels like an SNK game.

Probably the question should have been 96 onwards,, as the character graphics n mechanics became what they are today from that game, where as 94 & 95 have more in common.

Thanks to all who have put in their "2 cents". I work 2 jobs (active duty Air Force + 25hrs/wk part time job) and basically I am looking for the best gaming experience. My actual gaming time is pretty limited, so I really must choose wisely. As much as I would like to have them all, it is just something that I can't do. It sounds like a tough choice between '98 and '02.....arrgh I hate these types of decisions!!! :very_ang:
