Just got Metal Slug X

I've had the MVS cart for a few days now courtesy of Carlos. If not for 3, Metal Slug X would be king of the mountain.

Can someone please tell me: how the hell do I rescue the soldier who jumps down off the top of the cave in Mission 2 after you blow up the dynamite barrel to get in?!?

heh heh...

don't blow up the barrel... there are 3 pows up there. stand on the barrel on the side furthest away from the wall, jump and throw a grenade 3 times... all three will come down one at a time for you.

all you need to do now is beat it on 1 credit and you'll be straight.

I've been trying to do it for at least 2 years, the farthest I've gotten is the beginning of level 5
