I'm thinking one of those may come in handy.

I'm looking to buy one in the next couple of months.

I've used them before and yeah, it's a little confusing at first, but it's so much better than a mouse when you get the hang of it.

Suck on that, Nesagwa.

PS: I'd say your coloring needs some contrast.

Wicked drawings. Are Wacom Tablets an online only purchase or can you find them in stores? I've never seen any for sale in my area at least. :(

When I tried using a tablet a few months ago, I used it for Flash and Photoshop.

I recently downloaded Painter though and I'll check it out when I get my own tablet.

I'll probably be using it for coloring mostly.

Pencil and paper is still my bread and butter.

Congrats on getting the tablet, and by the way, I like your drawing style.

It's just a different kind of eye/hand coordination...like hermie says, you get used to it.

I don't remember if I've seen Wacom Intuos series tablets for sale at stores, but at my local Fry's, they have the smaller tablets (Graphire series?) and they also sell Hyperpens which are basically what Chevrolet is to Mercedes. They do the job, just not as well.

I got my Intuos2 off of Craigslist. I don't see why Wacom tablets couldn't be found at stores like CompUSA or Fry's.
