Just a pocket?

I gotsta know, do you own a pocket and a homesystem/MVS, or just a pocket?

I bought my pocket first. Then I got myself an MVS cab. I love both equally. I hope to get an AES someday, when I'm a bit richer. And a CD system, of course!

meh ... to be honest ... i really wanted to stop making consolized boards and guns, 'cause there's no 'challenge' anymore. it's just boring.

eventually I'll start building superguns. Maybe even sell some. after all I have many arcade power supply thingies on the way. and I could always use money. btw supergoose you have alot of mvs! did you get a good deal on them or something?

so do you make a nice enough profit to stay in this business? what would you say if I said I wanted to do this sort of thing to make some money on the side? and is there anyway you could show me the pcb's for the snes pads? I think they look awesome!

NGPC first, kinda by accident as I remember, while looking at Turbo Express stuff.

Then, bought MS4 to get into the AES.

THEN, bought a Phantom-1 off Robert Wallace to get into MVS.

Now I need a consolized set-up

profit? it isn't that much. boards are usually way more expensive. it definitely is NOT really worth it. you'll get way more money off of a real job. (IF you are interested in making quality stuff)

das hat sich halt so angesammelt. 4 der boards sind mir auch nur zum umbau zugeschickt worden, aber da sie halt gerade hier waren, wollte ich mal'n hübsches andenken machen.
selber bekomme ich pro monat 'nur' das kindergeld (154€) überwiesen, wovon ich halt nahrungsmittel, putzmittel, handy rechnung, gez ... und den ganzen krempel bezahlen muss. ich spare dann halt meist n' bissgen an den nahrungsmitteln und meine handy rechnung ist eigentlich immer unter 15€ inklusive grundgebühren. nächstes semester will ich aber endlich nen job auf 400€ basis. dann hab' ich für das bauen aber eh keine zeit mehr.
kannst dir kaum vorstellen, was das für'n stress war, bis ich mal ne kredit karte hab bewilligt bekommen ...

My first purchase was CFC. Then I needed to find a NGPC to run it.

I maxed out at 4 NGPCs and finally gave 2 of them away to my brother-in-laws.

Then, I got into MVS. My collection fluctuated a bit, but I have come to rest (I think) on a 2-slot sitdown cabinet and a 6-slot standup cabinet. I also own a 1-slot PCB, but that's in my brother-in-law's hands now because he's trying to fix up a sit-down cabinet to play on.

So, to sum it up, I have 2 NGPCs and 2 MVS systems.

naja ich fang nächsten montag mit zivildienst an, hab jetzt 3 wochen gearbeitet und ich hoffe, dass ich dann endlich im NGH Bereich einsteigen kann *jipiie* brauch nur noch ein boxed jp system und gamez ...
also mit nur kindergeld wär mir das echt zu wenig um "groß" im AES-Bereich einzusteigen ... ich mein da spart man ja schon 'n halbes jahr für ein US Garou
anyway ich denke wir werden uns sicher noch mal wieder "sehen" wenn ich dann mein NGH-system hab (ich mein in marktplatztechnischer hinsicht wink ).

Well, I do have a MVS one-slot and a couple of games (Magician Lord and SamSho I think) hanging around somewhere but I never use them as I don't have a suitable cab.

I do have some arcade cabs, just none of them are suitable for running MVS. I have, for the last year or so, been meaning to knock up a control panel for the Robotron that will allow me to play normal Jamma stuff. Too many projects, too little time

I may be trading the MVS for a NGPC store display stand though
