The Sun logo being on there is no different than an NGF logo to me, they're just a company nobody gives a shit about that aided in the release of the game (only Sun was authorized..)

Whatever, I think the English insert is great, I think the Jap insert is great too, but I prefer the English insert way more. It actually kinda makes me want to buy the game...</strong><hr></blockquote>

It is clear all who posted against US insert are not being unbiased,just take a look at Nick's comment about all english art being crappy.

The fact is, they are very similar.
The japanese has better design & balance, The english has better art on it.
That's my opinion.

However, compared to MS3 insert, they both suck.

Snk used to do that, & this Insert is something SNK might have made.

The english insert is soo different, its not like SNK at all.

Actually I too think the English insert is better than the JPN one. One major issue that seems to have been overlooked, is that the JPN insert has the big ugly white box on the back/bottom area, whereas the English one has text gently floating on top of the picture. Looks much better IMO. Also, the artwork on the back of the English cart (the illustration) is much cooler than the JPN one. I'll admit that Trey's points of the styles clashing a bit is a good one, but overall the English insert is the better one in my opinion. Sun and Brezza logos don't really make a huge difference either way here either . . . and the front covers are about the same it seems, although is is just me or is the English yellow color much brighter than the JPN one? <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />

I like that english back panel too.
More art over a box is always cool.
Just ish it had that same art/theme on the front & spine.

As far as the yellow, its hard to tell.
Could just be scanner/camera differences.
We'll have to wait till someone has em in hand to tell.

let's see, we got 1 maybe two new home carts per year.
We wait months just to see a bloody picture.

So we spend a day slapping each other in anticipation.

You'll find its often like this right before a release.

It all disapears when we actully get our game,
& we can actully enjoy playing it.

I'm only going to have to say the same thing as well. Nick's right. The U.S. insert looks like shit Simone.

That layout looked totally rushed and slapped together. It just doesn't look all that appealing to me.

I'm of the opinion that the English version is better. But then again, I'm biased towards English NG games anyway.

I agree that front and back clash, but you get more action on the front with Nadia, the bike, the hostage, and the other vehicle behind them in the English version.

The spine sucks on the US version. I would have liked to see the Slug 4 logo on the there. It would have been consistent with the other games.

I think that JP version is ugly sans the spine. The spine fits it great, the rest looks like ass.

Nick's main point,styles clashing each other will be fixed when the cart will be real.
Infact looking at real cart,you will see front and back of the insert just link up very well,making up the total insert layout.

Just think about AoF 3 insert,it has really a different back part compared to front illustration.
The same here,but more cool.

If I ever get this game I'll make my own insert for it that would kick both the english and jap versions asses! It would be the JHendrix corrected insert with nothing but pictures of my face on top of Tarma's because that's how SNK was originally going to do it, but do to a last minute mix up they went with what we have instead.

If anyone is interested please send me your cartridge and I'll replace it with the corrected one, which is gauranteed to make your cart DOUBLE in value!
