I think if the prices weren' t so jacked up and insane, the number of sales would be threefold if not more... about the greed thing.. It IS all about heartless profit.. a true fan would cut everyone a nice deal on them and not really care about profit as much as a common retailer. Doesn' t Shawn have enough money to begin with? Must not like cashing checks often or something.

Remember BIRDS of a Feather Flock together! you have to remember one thing this store and who runs it don't gives a rats ass if you have the coin! it's all about the CRUMP! sound familiar? it should it's just a clone. i finally see some of you's are starting to see the light (by questioning the home cart price list and now the consoles) it's going to get better. hupp_39

I hope when I build my mvs rig all of the KoF2k and MOTW aren' t gone... people with a room dedicated to neogeo sealed carts would get on my last f**king nerve.. like they' re not already.

Actually, I don' t know what a crump is. Is that some sort of white cracker slang?

I kid I kid.. i' ve only been looking around this site for maybe a month or so now. I posted in a different forum about how I couldn' t understand why the neogeo had/ has such a high MSRP ( not neostore) price.. but, I never looked to see how much they were going for now until recently and ofcourse a big " ?!" popped over my head.

Welcome back, Joe! Like yourself, I can purchase Neo-Geo merchandise without batting an eye, but I feel for the people who can't afford to spend $1,000 on a brand-new Neo-Geo system.

I' m just saying. I can afford to pick up one of those systems. I' d rather shop around and find one for a realistic price.

I wouldn't spend $1,000 on a Neo system either! lol The Neo-Geo is being made
into an elitist hobby... again.

Yeah how are younger audiences going to get into neo if people keep chasing them away with these high prices?
Its stuff like this that ruins the scene.
I will be the first to admit, I am not a rich person, I want to get some nice carts to play, (Who the fuck doesnt)
If not for this excuse alot use. (THEN BUY MVS) there would be no fall back.

God knows it would have been better if home carts were never produced.
Its all greed on many fronts.
What ever happened to the simple way to play games and share interests... Its evolved into mafia style groups, and seperartion up the wazoo, hell I remember in the 96/97 era when I got into neo, via CD.

Man I loved that system, then I found the net had a neo scene and I made reviews and whatnot.
I have become insane with this stuff, and paranoid to...Worried about hackers and virus's..
I suspect back talking all around me, (thanks to the few who deside to back talk me, and shawn for saying I was MPD, or multiple personality disorder, which is not true)

Rest assured, just like prices, if things are this crazy tonight give them a little more time, and they may get worse.

Do the games for the homecart have selection screens and whatever? I' ve never seen a picture of one and was just curious. And ofcourse i' ll be getting the mvs instead. I' ve always loved that little guy.... I remember playing showdown 1 recently and I was upset that it sucked alot worse than I remember it sucking.. Can a big sony wega be used as a monitor for arcade games? ( RGB, not s- video or component conversation. )

Lowered prices or unsane pricing does not produce neo geo systems. New neo geo systems are a finite supply. If you know how to increase sales ten fold with only 10 neo geo units in stock, then please let us know.

Please define a "nice deal". I think mvs is a "nice deal". So you can't afford the snazzy packaging on some of the home carts...no big deal! Go MVS. The outcome is the same: NEO GEO GAMING. Isnt' this what it is all about for the gamers: GAMING...right? So why fuss over having the cart with all of the bells and whistles going for over a grand! Owning a particular edition be it home cart, US, Japanese, CD, MVS, shouldn't matter to the gamer...am I wrong here?

Back to MVS...
Do the math: Around $300 (or less) for a USED system (gamers shouldn't care if the system is new right?), $300 for an arcade converter, $100 for TSS MVS, $40 for Metal Slug MVS, $40 for Waku Waku 7 MVS, and so forth. Relative to current and upcoming systems, the cost of entry for neo geo is not that high!

No one owes anyone anything, and no one is exluded from GAMING. From home carts, to CD, to MVS, (even roms) there is a Neo Geo for any budget.

Hi Mike, yea, you now get my drift what i'm saying about only the elite getting the systems. it would of been better if that cock Pion bought them all! then you would of seen a real blow out here! oh and LWK your getting the point i see. like i'm going to finace my fucking house for a few rare games! i don't think so. Not everyone here buys from the NeoStore, in fact barely anyone here buys from the NeoStore... We spend half of the newbie posts showing people places like Mdgamesales and Cosmic Company and other steals.

You know for once I'm not even going to ride into this debate.

I know how I feel about Shawn jacking the price up. Anything else I would say would be pointless due to everyone already speaking thier minds already about this.
