I live in Englans so I can only get an import version, so, does the NGPC (US version) play Japanese games.
I'm thinking of buying a Neo Geo colour pocket and...

They were released in Britain (although the slimline version wasn't), but they are all the same anyway. They all play all the games, and you can choose the default language. Some of the games are multi-language, and display in whichever language the console is set to, so you can play Japanese games in English, but not all of them are like this.
