Why are people flaming this guy?
would you flame a gun website just cos some people get killed by guns?
Truth is there is nothing illegal about emulation and roms UNLESS you dont own the games,
you are in law supposed to delete them from your hard drive after 24 hours(unless you own the game),
or at least that is the claimed disclaimer.
Legality wise things are iffy,i dont think there has been a single arrest or court case based on emulation,and there probably never will be,too many more important things out there to waste time and money on.
There is a morality and community issue at stake here though,and that is certain,
to this site emulation is the 11th unwritten commandment that didnt make it to stone tablet:
11:thou shalt not emulate neo-geo games.
Of course that is some peoples attitude,it is mainly directed more to the new games.
But lets get fucking logical and think about things clearly:
1.the type of people that are gonna download and play on there pc are not gonna buy the game anyway,they may not have the money or not be willing to fork out the cash and so there money would never reach anyones pocket.
2.some people actually own the games they download and play on there pc.
3.some people wanna do a try before you buy,they got the cash and are 100% determined to buy it if it is good,if its crap then they are unlikely to keep on playing it on there pc
4.the pc is a crap way of playing arcade and neo-geo games,it can be buggy you dont have the arcade feel and its on a small monitor,
the pc cost you money along with internet connection and download time and any mods made so you have paid something
but not as good.
5.just as the download cost you nothing,its not worth anything,its a hollow version of the real thing,the real thing of course is worth the money you pay and could go up in value,its also a proper collectors item.

Real or fake,
if your gonna go fake then you are doing yourself out,delusional status from the real thing youll pursue endless hatred towards those that are REAL,
youll be narcisisstic in attitude,really youd be jealous,jealous of the real thing and lack of understanding as to why real is better than fake,
youd even go as far as to attempt to prove something by spamming the message board to get reassurence that your opinion is correct,then when everyone disagrees with you : Despair and confusion "ohhh why dont they get my point of view" boo hoo followed by spammy angry outbursts.
Basically the rule of the entire universe is:
IF YOU GIVE NOTHING YOU GET NOTHING IN RETURN
