If I run a ROM check using the Unibios and it comes up with ? marks, is it a boot?

I ran a ROM check on my new Metal Slug 3 cart. Well it came up with "ok" for the first one, but the rest are "?" marks. Does that mean it's a boot or what?

No, not always. I have some games that come up as ??? and I opened them to make sure they weren't bootleg. All the of the ones that came up as ??? Were NOT bootleg for sure on my cart. Yet, the only bootleg cart I do have (SuperDodge Ball) came up OK on everything.

Well that's good news. See I bought the Metal Slug 3 from a respected member here and it was basically new in the box (from MDgamesales) I think.
