Who here recieves repeated ICQ messages of people who advertise their utter bullshit. >:[

I mean shit like webcam, porno, usless crap.

Earlier I recieved a message from someone who sounded extra nice and introduced himself as jason. I introduced myself and he gave a link saying he 20 and age doesn't matter to him. I check out his webcam link I got a page of some dumb motherfucker willy waggin. >_< Oh me pissed of. Anybody get that problem sometimes? i been getting these kinds of messages all day

ICQ has sucked for awhile, I stopped using it when it became bloatware and they put all those ad banners in it.

ICQ 99b was the best version.

it's easy enough to get rid of the banners, and I haven't gotten a single spam msg in 2 years.
simply turn off all the webicq, icq mail etc shit, and disable "accept multiple receipient msgs from people not on my list". that kills just about any spam bot.

The best bet is to hack the shit out of your ICQ, downloads depend on the year, and can include the IP your getting icq's from.(the individual), reveal people in hide mode. Click here for the utility, (2001 b users)
